In February of this year, we began prayerfully seeking a full-time senior pastor to lead our congregation. As we follow God's guidance, we are excited to discover who the Lord has chosen to guide us into this new chapter of our ministry. Meanwhile, we have a leadership team that continues to engage and serve our growing community of Christian disciples committed to Scripture, prayer, one another, worship and mission outreach.

Westminster Baptist Church is blessed to have Dr. David Blizzard serving in an interim position as we pray for God's guidance to discover who our next pastor will be. Dr. Blizzard came to us after retiring from Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville, SC after 40 years of service. Dr. Blizzard and his wife Carolyn have four children and ten beautiful grandchildren. His ministry experience includes being a volunteer chaplain for Anderson County Sheriff's Department, a professor at Covington Seminary extension campus and service as a trustee with the Baptist Courier. His experience, along with his dedication to and love for the Lord coupled with a quick wit and story-telling ability has endeared him to our church.

Britton serves as our worship leader and also is an elementary music teacher in Seneca. She grew up at WBC and is happy to be back "home". Her husband, Jonathan, is originally from New York City. His passion for helping church musicians led him to South Carolina. He often plays the piano during services. This talented couple shares their love of the Lord not only at WBC but throughout the community. Their son Grayden is a rising 3rd grader and loves coming to WBC.
